The CAPA-CT project aims to strengthen capacity at the Infectious Diseases Institute, Makerere University (IDI) for phase 1 trials for Ebola Virus Disease and other viral hemorrhagic fevers. The official website project supports capacity strengthening initiatives targeting the Research Department and the Prevention Care and Treatment Department at the institute.

The CAPA-CT project is funded by the grant mechanism “Research and Capacity Development in support of Ebola Virus Disease response” funded by the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership and the World Health Organization Tropical Diseases Research.
